I prefer the darkness and the colored lenses allow me to color the world as I see fit, usually a blood red or a pink to excite contrasts into the ultraviolet range where my energy resides. Mirrors refract their disillusionment and protect me from their mundane lifestyle. My dark eyepieces shield my liquid layers of pupal coverings safe from the asteroid dust  rains constantly on the world of the conformists.
